Delirious in Edmonton

Something to keep your spirits up as training camp opens later this month. Remember back in September 2005, no one expected the Oilers to either make the playoffs nor make it all the way to the final. Obviously, the 2007 team is not as talented as 2005 BUT if they can come together like that again, anything is possible. I mean, Pisani was a scoring machine in those playoffs so seriously, anything can happen! I'll do up my preview of the season soon and my prediction won't have the Oilers finishing 13th like most sports magazines are predicting.

Seriously Scarlett, that [beating Detroit]was one of the best moments in my life. I got goose bumps watching that clip... for real! Remembering those times really does keep the Oil spirit alive!

I'm sure you got that Playoff DVD in the mail? (I think all season ticket holders got them) I loved watching that... makes me feel all warm inside...although I stopped it at the start of the game 7 highlights. I'll never watch the end.

I was there for that game! I think I became a bigger fan that night. I was always a fan growing up, but that night cemented the Oil deep in my heart!

Aww - thanks for posting that! I'm sure you got the DVD, right? It's actually a really nice compilation.

It's only a little bit sad near the end ;')

OH yes, I've got the dvd and I was there that glorious night in Edmonton. Even though the team made it to the final, that was the most exciting night ever. I still get goosebumps thinking of that night.

And weaz, I have not watched the end either. I can't bring myself to it either!

Scarlett: do you know if there is somewhere you can buy the playoff DVD? I would love to have something like that. Every time I see highlights from the run I get goosebumps too.
