Charlie Wang is at it again.....this time he has signed goalie Rick DiPietro to a 15 year contract. Yes, 15 years. The contract will expire in 2022. Oh and it's a guarenteed contract.....if Ricky goes down to injury, he gets the entire $67.5 million. Yes folks, the inmates are running the asylum. There is no other explanation.On a completely different and un-crazy note, the Edmonton Oilers have signed Joffrey Lupul to a three year deal wroth $6.935 million. Thank you Kevin Lowe for bringing back sanity to the GM position (Yeah Wang isn't technically the GM of the Isles, but he might as well be. Snow is just his puppet now). 2.3 million a year, a bit higher than I thought he was going to sign for, but hell, compared to the Isles, the Oilers are rocket scientists!!!
